That is beautiful! I am not a dr, but I think you have a serious case of burnout syndrome. I recommend a few more burnouts & follow up in a week.

Yeah the 62 was the first of the first Nova generation and this car came to NZ From American Samoa. Then it was transformed into a Gassa for drag racing here for many years and very competitive and it a wall twice and rebuilt and then back to a normal street car and sold twice. Then my mate got her 10 years ago street burnouts ETC then it was stored 3 years and then full strip bare metal build at 2 different shops as one had to get the heavies in to get her out.( Given the runaround massively and unbelievable $$$$$$ spent) Today she's mini tubbed so kids can ride in back, burn out heaven and fun times having this Nova back on the road for three weeks now. He said he loves it and gets so much attention he takes 45 minutes at the petrol pump with people in queues , ha ha ! Beautiful in the flesh as photos just not the same!!!

It has been a joy to read through this and get to learn more about that car and its path so far. In my class I teach two kindergarten students from New Zealand (one from Auckland too) and have been getting to learn more and more about New Zealand. The parents came in last week to teach us and celebrate Waitangi Day too. It seems there is a lot of media that showcases Australia's car scene, but from my understanding the NZ car scene is also very vibrant, and it's great to catch a glimpse!

My coworker from NZ has a twin turbo RX7 back there as his holiday car, it makes me drool every time he talks about to.

Anyway, love the post and thanks again for showcasing cool cars from all over the globe.

Very, very nice ride!!! Any quality build is ON SUBJECT as far as I am concerned, Chevrolet or otherwise. I don't think I will ever get tired of seeing the old school blower sticking out of the hood like that. I love the modern blowers for their power and efficiency, but they just don't have the 'cool' factor of the old school ones.....

Flipped your pic. Like batmann said, I never get tired of seeing the "old school" hotrods such as that Nova with the massive blower sticking out of the hood! Just looks killer, and exudes that MONSTER power/torque vibe! Love the looks, and especially the color combo. Well done you guys!! You have my respect..
