This week's purchase is a Super Damper. Prestaging this for the shop install and praying I don't have to have it honed .040 just to get it over the crankshaft.

I see a lot of people use a dowel pin for the crank instead of reaming a keyway to match the one on the Super Damper, any reason behind that?

Got nothing better to do until the GPI rod mod intake comes in, might be a while since the site gives no indication of progress or queue.

The center console lid bugged me as it attracted dirt from contact and it always felt like I was going to put my elbow thru it when getting in. Found this cover on the 'bay with memory foam specifically for a fifth gen and it fixed what was bugging me. Slip on with lots of wide stretchy elastic.

Do they have one without all the stitching? How is the material quality?

What did I do to my Camaro today? Hmmm... beat on it with a hammer, drilled a hole in it, put on a bunch of missing parts it should have had... now looks better!

No sir, no lighting except for a blue LED dome light, the blue looks good with the RJT. We never go out at night much.. Saw no need.

Why thank you! In all seriousness, been working on some needed tweaks and fixes... sounds awful, but being careful and happy with results.

Added about 2 gal of fresh 50-50 coolant to the system. Only the 2nd time in 11 years and 49,000 miles.

What is the process for doing that? Is it hard to get any trapped air out of the system?

Did mine a couple weeks ago and no issues with trapped air. After refilling just left the cap off the radiator, started the car and squeezed the hoses a little. After a few burps, topped it off and she was good to go.
