JMS FuelMAX voltage booster vs DSX Aux Pump for LSA/LS3 Combo

ZL1 Fuel Pump and JMS Voltage Booster with 1050 ID Injectors good for how much HP Safely? Or should I go with and DSX Aux pump? Ls3 with Ported LSA SC and a Cam.

Wondering if either set up is safe for the 700 HP Range.
I have had both suggested.
JMS if able to handle HP safely I think would be a good options.
I am looking for a safe reliable set up.

Thanks

Hey Joe. I ran the JMS for about 2 years around 700 hp with no problems with 850cc injectors. I also ran meth tho. I’m not sure how long the zl1 pump can take 17.5 amp for the long haul. I would just go dsx low side. It’s a easy install and can make way more power.

Kinda what I was thinking, just trying to get different opinions and thoughts. I don't really see myself going any further than current build plan.

I've been running a Kenne Bell boost-a-pump with a ZL1 pump for about 10 years. It is triggered by a hobbs switch at 7# and I replaced the rheostat with a resistor that makes it put out 18.5v, which is the max without triggering a CEL. It worked with 700hp on pump gas with a turbo and meth. I went to ID1000 injectors on E85 to safely move to 16# of boost at 800hp, which necessitated an A1000 aux pump (could have used DSX but wanted something different than what they offered). I pulled the meth when I did that and ended up having to get a Treadstone race intercooler to keep the IATs down. I tried not using the boost-a-pump with the A1000, but pressure was not what I needed at 7k (I have to push 85psi at 7k to keep the duty cycle reasonable with the ID1000s). Hope that helps.

So is a ZL1 Pump JMS BP with ID1050's safe for the 700 to 750 range on pump gas? I really don't want to run short on fuel, also if you got over ten years ontge set up I am assuming it is fairly safe/ easy on the pump.

I'm not sure about 750, plus I run a turbo which uses less fuel than a blower. I also have a spare pump on the shelf for peace of mind.

ZL1 pump with a BAP 700/750 is about all that combo is good for.

Have you looked at KMP fuel systems? They offer return less OEM sytle fuel systems. Complete plug and play with OEM.

Personally have not used them but I see adds on this site all the time. My good friend with an ESS supercharged 10R80 S550 is looking into them and the shop we use speaks highly of them.

Being that they are crank ratings I would probably need the 1000 HP Pump? I'd have to speak with tuner and see what he thinks. I'll also do some research to see what people are saying.

my tuner recommended the DSX Aux as I'm in the same situation you are right now. Sending the LS3 to get a cam and rebuilt. Before the bearing spun, I was at 14psi and was on the cusp of maxing out the ZL1 pump (1000cc injectors had plenty of room) at about 140mph/6k+rpm. It's cheap insurance because I do not want to ever pull this damn thing out again lmao
