I had a super productive wrenching ,session, within an hour and a half I did some paint touchup, replaced the belt, waxed the hood, shined up the tires and took it to a shop to get some heavy scratches buffed out. There is a car expo next month at the Beijing Exhibition center and I want my car flawless before it enters!

Built some 821 heads that were previously reman'd using US-Seal valves, swapped those for Ferrea 6000s.

The work took way too long on account of having two different spring compressors and none fit the job.

BTR .660 Dual springs are a stopgap til I can manage a set of PSIs.

Hopefully they'll last long enough to make the switch on schedule.

Sad to hear BOTH of your rides are giving you problems! That bites. But yeah, time to plant those "money trees" and fertilize them!! lol.

I've got those same ones. Much better than stock rubber covers.

Absolutely, so much easier to rev match while braking now.

Last weekend I took out the diff and got it to the shop for a 4.10 gear swap. Still waiting in line, hope to have it back before next weekend.

Today, I did the grinding for the caster eccentric kit and got it all fitted. I also snaked the oem front sway bar out, and snaked in the new Pedders bar. I don't know which was more difficult. Both kinda sucked, lol.

Ordering new front control arms for it now, all 4, the bushings in mine are tired and the other ends are very free moving, not sloppy yet though.

Tomorrow I'll change the transmission fluid, flush the brakes with new DOT5.1 fluid, pull the heat shield to check the jxb center support since I'm under there, and give everything else a good once-over.

Of course, oil change, air filter, and gonna go ahead and do plugs/wires.

Once I get the diff back it goes in for an aggressive street alignment, then she should be ready to rip.
