2010-2013 Chevy Camaro Mylink Upgrade.
Why chose mylink over aftermarket.
Unlike aftermarket units that require "translation" modules (like iDatalink Maestro) to talk to the car, MyLink is a native citizen. Climate Controls: You don't just lose the knobs; the screen displays your HVAC settings natively without lag. Vehicle Settings: You retain full access to the car’s personalization menus (lighting, door locks, etc.) exactly as the factory intended. Chime & Sensor Retention: Door chimes, turn signal clicks, and backup sensors work perfectly because they aren't being "emulated" by an external box. https://youtu.be/LREBGXrS-k4 Last edited by ScribnerMechanics; 03-31-2026 at 08:52 PM. Reason: My video was not working. |

Been thinking about this. Only thing is I also want a front camera. I have neither backup nor front at the moment and was looking to solve all that in one fell swoop along with Carplay. And where do you access door locks given the button is gone on newer unit? And how about the various part numbers?
