I'm not aware of that one, the one I was referring to is right there on the positive side beside the post.

Cleaned the the paint off the body where the main ground attaches to and added a 2nd ground cable from the negative to the same bolt as the OEM ground. Seems to have done the trick!
On another note, I pulled it out this morning and it's dripping oil in my garage... I hope it is not the oil pan gasket. Hopefully its the oil cooler or a line associated with it. I don't have access to a lift, what's a good low pro floor jack for this car?

HF does have some good jacks! I have 3 of the Daytona low profile versions. Love them! Although having the ZL1 Addon jack lift pads will help as well!

Hopefully it is not the rear main seal. I have yet to fix that on my Camaro. hopefully this year. It's a slow leak.. not sure how much of a leak you have though.

I'm in the market for a new floor Jack. I'll be 70 this year and tell myself I'm done crawling around the garage floor. But I'm really not, that's "fake news." It's probably where they'll find me!
![]() Going to check out Harbor Freight.

Now that is funny! I like your sense of humor! But yes... check out HF... the Daytona jack lifts and stands they have... they CAN be had at a great price. That is when I do my shopping. I am due for one more Daytona jack lift since I only have three ATM. One portable low profile mini Daytona and two low profile 3 ton jack lifts.

Yeah that be the worse case, I did my oil pan because it started leaking from the shop that did cam, They dropped the front of pan to do oil pump and just threw some atv on it and tightened it back up! So i cut the cross brace and welded flanges on it , made job super easy to do then! If its oil cooler just delete it, I did and mine runs 10 degrees cooler!

Going into 2nd gear the car has always felt like it notches in once, then notches in a 2nd time a little further. I just pull it in a little bit harder than a normal shift and it’s been fine. But the last 2 days it has been grinding when going into second. Even with the firm shift.
If I’m going really slow or really quick it seems fine otherwise. I’ve been skipping from 1st to 3rd or starting out slowly in 2nd most of the time because it’s becoming a really consistent problem. I haven’t beat on the car yet, it was fine the first couple of days. The car has the hurst short throw shifter. I’m hoping something just needs to be adjusted, wrong fluid in the transmission, or something else simple, lol. What does everyone think? Also my drivers side heated seat doesn’t work, but the passenger side does. What should I be looking for? Any common issues? The light for the drivers side heated seat lights up for a minute or 2, then it shuts itself off

I cannot speak for the shifting issues you are having... but I do know the drivers side heated seat issue is common. I have first started to notice this not long after I purchased the Camaro from a private seller. The same thing happened such as your heated seat switch/light. I did some research and found that it is a broken heating element wire in the backrest or a burnt out connector under the seat etc... That is most likely the issue and there are some troubleshooting things you can do to repair it. I looked into it on my end and following the link/instructions... and decided to leave it as is for now as I live in Florida. Here is a link that may get you started... https://www.google.com/search?client...&bih=617&dpr=1
