Interior Trim Panels
How do you remove the dash interior interior trim panel, 2012 2ss, passenger, side, trim panel? it seems the clip at the column side will not release. How to access a nut if there is one?

If you are talking about the long piece between the steering wheel, across the dash above the glove box, it should just pop out. No screws anywhere that I saw on a vid I saw.

The leather insert has screws under the silver trim panel with snap fasteners around the bottom area. The silver trim panel just pops off.

Thanks all - I did manage to get the damn thing off.
The Web "How to's" all show it should just be easily pried out. I thought maybe there was a 7mm nut on it according to stupid AI instructions, but that made no sense as it would be impossible to get at. The last clip at the driver's side refused to release, but I used a narrow screw driver to push the retaining tang of the clip in, and then it popped right out. Not something I wanted to break. Got my Interior all torn down for custom Painting. |
