Wanted to share pics of the Morimoto LED fog lights installed.

The roadway pic believe it or not is just the fog lights on only. BUT, it is very deceiving... they do NOT illuminate the road that brightly. They do project that distance, just with much less intensity. The iPhone "night mode" jacked up the light gathering and made them look much brighter than they really are.

They have a sharp horizontal cutoff line. I ended up having to lower them more after that pic, with the adjusting screws. They were actually hitting higher than the headlights when at a far distance. Everything is dialed in good now.

Very happy with the way they match the headlight color temperature.

Man if that picture was actually true to light, they couldn't take my money fast enough. Completely overkill if it was the actual brightness but I like it.

So you have the harness from Phastek?

I do have the harness! Love it. I've got four "modes" to run in now...
1) Everything off
2) Fogs only
3) Fogs and halos only
4) Everything on (fogs, halos, headlights)

At night, I don't think mode #2 would be available? Not that someone would ever do that anyway.

That harness just plugs into the headlight on the passenger side right? The automatic light control, fogs are on 24/7 correct?

You'll like that mod! Did mine about 14 years ago, and they still work as advertised, and looks cool!! Happy Birthday!!

It plugs into the DRL harness on the passenger side in the fenderwell. And yes, in auto mode the fogs/drl's are on always unless you turn them off. Oh, and when the car is in gear, sitting in park, they don't come on until you start driving.

Thanks for the assist JEWELD! Been having some trouble with the slow site... can't just jump in quick with a response. I 100% concur with this and was super easy to add the harness. I had entire bumper off anyway, bit I'm sure could be done through wheel well, by pulling back liner. I also used some zip ties to secure the added connector length.
