PAC RPK5 GM4102 PLEASE HELP Questions

Hi, I just had the PAC installed with a Knewood DMX908S and have some questions that I cannot find answers to in either manual. I also have the stock Boston Accustics amp in the car.

1) Which buttons on the steering wheel can be custom programmed?
a) Can Android Auto Assistant be programmed to a short press on one of the buttons?
2) The volume is low using Android Auto, and I have the master volume control on the Kenwood turned all the way up, +5 for all connections. On a video of an install for the PAC with a car having the Boston Accustics amp, they said not to connect to the PAC by the amplified factory audio connection, but connect to the standard factory audio connection to get better head unit volume. Is this correct?

Don't know if this will work on your setup but for me and my aftermarket AA at the time I had to plug in a aux cord in to the aux input in the console. It didn't need to be plugged into anything else just the aux port. I know it sounds weird but that fixed it for me. Your experience may vary but it's worth a shot.

The other things should be in the head unit manual if you have one.

Hope i helped
