13 months since I got this car. Still love it. It has been a project for sure. I've been fixing a lot of the original parts that have just gone bad from being old. New water pump last month and over the weekend I replaced the original EGR valve. It's running better now than it ever has since I've owned it. I just need to do some fine tuning on the carb and it should be golden.

The sunset on my shakedown drive Saturday evening was too good not to video.

Why didn't you just throw out the EGR-stuff? MY'86 shouldn't even throw a code.

Nice vid! Got to love that long hood.

It's just as easy and cheap to install a new EGR Valve as it is to buy and install a block off plate. LG4 EGR replacement takes maybe 10 minutes. A lot easier than a TPI engine. That and I'm trying to keep this car as original as possible. The only thing I have deleted so far is the air pump. I have a new one in the box if I ever decide to sell the car though.

Great song choice! Saw them live on their Hysteria tour in Toledo, OH years ago. Love that you chose the IROC for your restoration project. I was blown away by these cars when they came out. I was 16 years old and wanted one so bad!
