Wow, what a difference in color temp, nice improvement for sure! So you just swapped out the bulbs, keeping the rest of the OEM fog light? They look very bright in your third pic. Seems you got the Phastek cable in there already too?

Yep just bulb swaps. Headlights and fog lamps.

Funny you say that. I gave up on that thing for today. I didnt feel like taking the wheel and fender liner off. Is this the connector and how the hell do you get it undone?! I spent a good 20 minutes on this thing and just said screw it. I couldn't find any press tab like the videos I saw which made .e think it wasnt even the right connector. Went to fix my pitboss smoker/grill after that. Working on the car and grill for my birthday. Better than actually working!

I totally remember struggling with that friggin' thing! And then it just came apart easy as ever, once I pressed in the right spot. I may have to get in there to check mine for you (happy to do it), but once you pull that white slider clip out, I think you literally squeeze in that same spot... like that IS the push button lever thing and then it will raise up off the catch and you can pull it apart. Sounds like you moved onto MUCH better things, though. Happy birthday and hope that smoker treats you right this weekend!

You DO have the correct connector though. I remember it well.

Thank you!

I knew i could get it if I took the wheel off and had more room to work but I did not feel like doing that at all. I took my car out to dinner but it didnt get dark to see if the headlights did anything for visibility. Had the reflection in a truck and did a double take...... wondered what the hell is wrong with my fog lamps..... im so used to seeing yellow not a white/blue LED.

Totally get that. I try to see what I can get away with just turning the wheels and reaching into the tiny opening. Did the Morimoto fogs that way. I hope you have success with the Phastek harness. We have a busy weekend, but maybe I ccan get a moment to remind myself how that clip worked. Will definitely post if get to it. Have some fun Camaro outings in the nice weather... downtown Louisville for Derby festival stuff and then to Red River Gorge Sunday. Got her all cleaned up and ready to go today. Excited.
