Battle Without Honor or Humanity - Tomoyasu Hotei is the title. I'll be playing this when I roll off the lot in my car too, followed by a string of Metallica jams.

+1

I was in so much 'shock and awe' when we picked up this BAD A** 'Bitchin' Camaro, that I have NO IDEA...

The song I wanted to play was 'Highway Star' by Deep Purple, remake by Buckcherry...it is my vanity plate for my car...
Just listen to the words to that song, they are very appropriate...

Someone posted the Buckcherry video on here awhile ago, but unfortunately, I do not know how to link it to my post here...

Maybe one of the MODS or forum members can 'help this girl out'..............

Thank you in advance for your cooperation...I just know that someone will help me...

The first song I played on the CD was Smooth by Carlo Santana. The car is so smooth that the song fits.

I was 14 years old and one of my best friends who was 17 stopped over with his new
/used ride. A 1968 Camaro. We went for a ride and the music playing was Creedence Clearwater Revivals version of “I heard it through the grapevine”. Well that one ride was enough to convince this long ago 14 year old that someday, I would own my own Camaro. Now is the time. Since the car has a retro side to it, I went retro with that same CCR song to christen my new ride.

My song of choice was Rob Zombie "Living Dead Girl" . The key lyrics:

Operation filth
They love to love the wealth
Of an SS Whore
Making scary sounds

I had the xm on for the ride home from the dealer. Had it set to the 80's channel and the first song playing on my ride home was Madonna "Lucky Star"

Now I have my own mix on the ipod for my rides. Some of the songs include:

Highway to Hell
Highway Star
Machinehead
Drove all Night
Indestructible
Bad to the bone
Bad Boys theme
Start me up
Battle Without Honor or Humanity
Everybody Wants Some
Can't drive 55

This is the plan as long as lightning doesn't strike the fin and the stereo starts playing The Cheetah Girls. I thought it would be fun to see where everyone's musical tastes are--do you practice this tradition? If so, what was your first song?
Is there a Radio in the car???
Seriously, roll both windows down and open the sunroof (if equipped)
When you pull out of the dealer, step on the gas and listen to the most BEAUTIFUL Music your car will make!!!

Come Together would have been good for me. Kind of fits with the hoops I had to jump through to get my Camaro.

Do this driving through a tunnel. It gets even better! My car sounds like the 427 Cobra in Gumball Rally flying through New York City.

I played two songs in a row from the Sparkle and Fade album by Everclear:

Summerland followed by Santa Monica, I used to enjoy these in my '95 Red Z-28 convertible when I just wanted to cruise and enjoy the "ride". These are great driving songs.
