I'm about a day 1/2 behind you 1sickss. Just hit Cincinnati. It's amazing how we "wait patiently" for a few months (4 for me) and to think that now we are a few days (6 or 7 for me!) from taking delivery...

My car is Finally moving again! It's headed towards Selkirk New York!!!!!!

Guess what I got today

Man, This car was well worth the wait!!!!

I got the call around 1000. Got her with 2 miles on it!!!!!! It took about 2 hours to get everything done. We had to go for a ride, wait on the paperwork guy, set up the Onstar. I don't think I heard a word anyone said to me

I had to go back to work so I was only able to put 5 miles on her so far. I still don't believe I finally got it

One more thing, I damn face hurts from grinning.

I'm right there with you. My rail car emptied on the 6th and I still have no truck info.

I'm still in pocatello!!!! Get ready to sit there a while. I highly doubt mine will be here this week. I haven't really been talking to the dealership much, but I can tell you this, the salesman didn't even flinch when I mentioned my GM discount code for being a credit union member. If you belong to a credit union there is a website you can get a discount code on, if you haven't already. If you want it, let me know.

Im paying for mine in full. But thanks for the info. Im kinda bummed out that I couldnt get the 2ss, I want those gauges. But I rather have the engine instead of the accessories. My train is running @ maybe 40mph. Its kinda annoying because its going sooo slow. Im in about the middle of nebraska now. Did you go nebraska>wyoming>idaho?

Are you talking about some kind of general discount or just a discount if you finance your car? I'm a member of 2 CU's so if there is some kinda discount that would be really awesome. Please let me know.

Also, the car is basically almost here - isn't it a bit too late to ask my dealer for a discount? Shouldn't I have done this at the beginning? I mean if its possible I'm willing to do just about anything to save some dough $$.

well, I don't have my car yet either. This is the worst vacation ever! All I want to do is fly home and picker up. The beers are $8 here and I could get a much better buzz from driving my 426hp LS3 around!
