I'm going to be extremely skeptical of 20RWHP from an intake on the V6... Did you see the Jannetty thread for the V8 CAI shoot out. Here's the results: http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?k...=1&output=html Biggest HP gain was 15.9 RWHP... so... I'm going to be a bit skeptical on the 20+ HP claim...

The CAI claims wouldn't be the only things I would be skeptical from manufactures. Did you see what Jannety thought about exhausts?

But yeah, I'm pretty much skeptical of ALL manufacturers claims... And while I can't do my testing absolutely scientifically, i do try and do it honestly as possible and I figure between the dyno and the track I can get a pretty good idea how a new mod performs...

It is in the large Jannety CAI thread, one sentance. Something as he hasn't seen much if any differance in axle backs on the SS.

What gear did they do the pulls in? Do you happen to know what the weather was like? Temp and barometer? Also if you look at the sheet does it show a SAE correction factor?

That being said... your Standard HP number would be more like 245 instead of 233... 245 is more in the ball park of what I would expect..

Hmmm... sounds like something wasn't set up right... the .048 is awfully low...
Here's a vapor pressure calc: http://www.csgnetwork.com/vaporpressurecalc.html Looking at todays weather it looks like the dew point was about 35 degrees F. Which would mean with 72 degree temp and 35 degree dew point the vapor pressure should have been about .2 which is more in line with what I would expect... only way i could get a .04 vapor pressure was set the dew point to 0 degree... hmmm...
