rear end problem at the strip?????

went to the strip again. did a burn out then backed up and did another quick burnout. On e the second one only 1 wheel spun. (so i was told). I then lauched the car and when I shifted to second the passenger rear tire lit up and the car drifted a little sideways. I got out of it then back in it and the driver tire lit up. ( so I was told) They said the power switched back and forth a few times...... After I was told all of this I went to the parking lot and got someone to stand on both sides of the car while I spun them and they both spun fine. Two long black marks. What could cause the rear end to act like this on a hard launch. No noises and nothing seams broke. I am running ~ 600 RWHP.....

Edit: good point. You had in comp mode at least right?

The LSD probably can't handle the power. How many miles do you have on it. The owners manual says to change the dif fluid after 1500 if you are going to race.

it is a manual (and yes everything was off) and I have 4000 on it. What is the best fluid you can buy for it. I have not dealt much with these independant rear ends.

what do you mean by who's account.... I dynoed ~57X with my setup and I have added a extra 25 shot of the juice. It should definetely be ~600. I have a shop in memphis that did the motor work and is now building out my 442 LS7 forged engine. It should be going in a about 2 weeks or so. thats why I need this rear end straighened out...... OLDROCKER. How much does it hold so I can swing by the zone and get it on my lunch break.

Oh yeah I am running at Holly Springs MS track. It is a NHRA 1/8 mile track. Nice track, you should come down sometimes. They have gotten pretty busy since memphis shut down..

ohhhhh...I could imagine what it must feel like rocketing down the strip with that extra shot of power... then a 442 LS7?!? Damn, what next, a jet engine?

yeah a jet engine would be nice. I could really roast some mustangs then...... Really though I am shooting for about 770+RWHP out of the ls7 setup. Nice safe 570 or so on engine and a little shot of the juice.... and away it will go...

It's not hard just drain it then fill it till it starts to come out the fill hole and don't forget to add the friction fluid not sure what the part number is but it's listed in your manual and available at dealer.
