Go for an '08 Corvette and just add the 4LT option to get that upgraded interior with leather stitching EVERYWHERE. Only put you out 4K.
![]() The Corvette is one amazing car, and I'll agree the interior isn't the best in the world. But it's better than some. I mean come on, the seats are some of the most comfortable I've ever sat in. What more do you want? ![]() Camaro is will be an awesome car, but it looks like the Corvette is what you want. So get the Corvette, and give the Camaro the thumbs up when you see one next to you at a stoplight!

I think we have to consider styling here too.
Which car do you like the looks of more? I think when it comes to a car, looks are important. It's how you want the world to see you. You may not care, but since you like the performance of the 350Z but don't want it, I think you do. Do you want the futuretro look of the Camaro or the Vette? I think if the 06 runs high 12s and the Camaro runs really low 13s (I'm betting it'll be possible to get 13 flat) that's not a huge difference. If the Camaro lives up to the performance expectations, it'll be a great handling Sporty Coupe/muscle car. I like the Vette, but I think if I had to choose between an 06 Vette and a new Camaro SS, I'd go SS. If it were two brand new cars, the decision would be harder. Not that I'm opposed to buying used, but I think the Camaro will be a badass car for the price you pay. If it comes in under 35k that is. |

I know what you mean. I found an '05 vette today with a removable roof panel. 30,000 miles and asking price was $30k.

I like the idea of being able to put more than two people in a car, especially if it's your only car.
![]() Picture this... you are cruising around with your friend showing off your new/used Vette and you see a hot girl who wants a ride... (in the car). Um, I guess your friend will be walking home instead of riding in the backseat if you had a Camaro. :upset:The Corvette has been around a while and people are used to seeing them. The Camaro will turn more heads. But, obviously both are nice cars so good luck with your decision. |

There's no one right answer - depends on each person's priorities.
I just sold my 'Vette for one reason: I have two young children, both of whom are car crazy. It just wasn't right to take just one of them out at a time. With a Camaro, I can have a fun, high-performance car and still feel like a good dad. When the Camaro comes, my son and daughter and can both go with me. That's a huge deal for me, and worth half a second in the quarter mile. |

Depends on what you like. The cars styling and such in addition to everything else.
I like Corvette's just fine, but I, personally, would never take one over a Camaro even if I could afford it. |

handling, weight and overall performance=Vette.
HOWEVER -- the "base" C6's styling doesnt work for me in the "BAD Azz!" department. If you go for a gently used '06 Z06 instead, then you have an instant winner. SOME '06 Z06's can be had for ~$58K. If thats too much,I say go for the Camaro. Trust me, it will be the new "I want it NOW!" car to have, once it hits the streets. Get your order in early, and be ahead of the crowd.
