So tell me about the shop where you got your graphics done. Do they do custom body & paint or just graphics?

It's called Schmidt's Body and Paint. They're at 1229 So. on 300 West in Salt Lake. 801-487-5483. They do custom vinyl like I have but they also do custom paint of all kinds. I just talked to a young lady there. She told me they can design something custom for you and airbrush it or do it in vinyl. I did vinyl because it was much cheaper and because I can take it off after a few years and put something else on if I want. Gemini got some little stuff done there recently and they are going to do some more for her soon. Prices are pretty reasonable. They've treated Gem and I really well.

I saw a car at the Bountiful Car Show this spring that was awesome that was done by Rusty's Auto Body and Paint in Sunset. I don't think Rusty's does vinyl. You can see some of their work at www.rustysautobody.com. I haven't had anything done there so I don't know their prices. But I was so impressed with the car I saw at the show that I picked up their card.

You know what i just thought would be cool. You know those 3D hologram stickers. What if that body shop could make your Vinyl stripes into one of those 3D holograms. That would look absolutly bitchen.

Again Slick, I think you need to take up writing full time. I can just about picture the whole event. I probably would have done the same if I had seen who dinged my rear fender well. People need to learn respect and they need someone to remind them of what that includes.

The reality of winter is setting in. Bummer!!

But I look forward to getting the cosmetics done. I think I will pass on the hologram stripes. Pricing has come down somewhat on the accessories.
Crusher, what are you thinking? Pinstripes, full stripes or what? I am also looking for a place to do mine. I have a couple of names for pinstriping but not for the fade I am want. One name, I was told was is the best for paint, was so high priced that I would be a year paying off.

Doesn't look like I will be getting my car this weekend Still sitting at the rail yard, and apparently only one guy at the dealership can call and he was off today. Hoping for good news tomorrow, but not gonna hold my breath. I keep telling myself its gonna be crappy weather anyway, but it isn't cheering me up any. Cheers to you all if I don't talk to you guys tomorrow have a great weekend.

Pearl I totally feel your pain that is what happened to me. It came in 5.02am on a Thursday but didn't get unloaded and to the dealer till Monday afternoon. I did get to go see it but they didnt start any prep for it. One good thing I gave them a disposable camera to take pictures before all the wrappings came off and they did that. I didn't get to pick up my car for a week later. It was a horrible wait but I made it.. So will you both hang in there we call are here for you..

Thanks Gem, All hope is not lost it was unloaded this morning finally. My dealership isn't a very high volume dealer, so if they get it this afternoon I can probably pick it up tomorrow. I will keep you posted.
