I saw you guys talked about me going missing and forgetting yall yesterday....but i was out of my hands i couldnt get the keys until my credit Union sent over the draft...and the loan officer was lazy and was off to lunch when she knew we were waiting at the dealer for her to send it over...

So, I go down to the body shop because they "needed to get some codes" off the car to paint the bumper. Well, it turns out that they actually wanted to see if the original bumper could just be sanded where it got hit and "spot painted" with new clear coat on the whole bumper "so it would match closer". Since the plastic was actually dented that can't be done. So, they will get it painted and call me next week sometime to install. Then, the great news....."it won't be a perfect match, but it will be VERY close." WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So....just a word of warning......if not a perfect match, I will no longer own IOM #57763 camaro......it will be theirs again and I will go elsewhere. This is bull#$#t!!! I ordered a brand new car and got a damaged car that may never completely match again?!?!?!?! I am just so frustrated. At this point, I am no longer excited about the car and now have a permafrown instead of a permagrin! Sorry for the rant, but it is either rant or cry!!!

I went outside during our 15 min break to see my car and to see if anyone was near it or not...When I got to the car the cop got out but realized it was me and got back in his car...Im glad hes watching my car...

this is so disapointing for us all to read...I promice I didn't really jinx ya to make things turn out like this.....in this day and age any car can be repaired and with the 3 stage paint system it should be a perfect match without question...if the car was 2 or 3 years old and not well maintained with polish I could see where the original paint might fade some and the new paint might be a different shade but not now...they are dropping the ball here and I expect to see that firery southern temper flare right back em...your dealer should be falling all over himself fixing this for you...if not conatact GM customere care

I just got off the phone with my salesman and he was VERY upset with the attitude of the body shop guy. Matter of fact, the sales manager is having a "little discussion" with him right now. He called me back to tell me that #1, their body shop will not be allowed to paint it. It will be sent out to another shop that is great here in town (one we have used for other things and are terrific!!) and #2....if it doesn't match perfect, it will be re-done as many times as needed until it does. That made me feel better. He could not believe his body shop manager was such a "moron"! (His words not mine!!) So, the saga continues. What can I say....it's Friday the 13th, maybe I'll just hide under the desk until the day is over!

I still dont get how he damaged your car...what happen? I wouldnt have taken delivery and would have gone to a different dealer...cuz you bought a new car and thats what you deserve...If this happen to me i would make them give a $1000 worth of acessories on top of the new bumper...I think they are just pulling your leg so you give up...Come on what happen to the cheryl we all knew before...I say you Fight!!!:fighting0040:
