I did not intend for it to come across otherwise, but I mean really, how many people are really out there that are truly qualified to build powerplants as good as GM? I think there are car companies out there that don't build to such standards. To each his own, this observation was simply only MVHO.

Given the springboard the original Transformers movie provided for our beloved Camaro, is it reasonable to think that TF2 will be used as a launch for the Z28? After all, we have seen the pictures of the revised Bumblebee front end and rims floating around. Makes me wonder...

What if..........

The Z28 was built w/ a less expensive, non force fed, purely aspirated "no replacement for displacement" engine....

Can anyone tell me the difference between the cost of an LSA versus ....say.....something w/ 505hp? This is just thinking out loud, folks....

Bah, lets just make an LSB (B standing for Big) with 9.0L displacement and call it a day.

P.S. - Turn key LS7 on jegs is 13,000. I can't find an LSA (I admit I didn't take THAT long looking though...)

I know...but that is to be purchased outright.

I want to know (and I'm not calling you out specifically on this one) how much it would run to put the LSA vs. the LS7 in the new Camaro. A supercharger on top of a 6.2 ltr would add thousands. So, let's say an LS3 is 7k....about right. Add on, oh....5 grand (ROUGH ESTIMATE) and you are looking at 12k. What if the engine costs more....the SC costs more? But, the LS7 could actually cost less if mass produced???

I'm just playing a guessing game here...>AND...I want to see if it would work.

IF GM makes a more powerful Z28 it will be a limited production car and cost BIG BUCKS. Are you ready to spend $50k ???

I myself am totally satisfied with the SS LS3 manual with 422hp. But I want to put a better Magnaflow exhaust and intake to make it sound better and maybe boost the car to 450hp. Thats PLENTY for me.

Hmm, maybe they could play with the Vortec 8100 big block and squeeze out 500+hp...

For sure GM will never put a corvette engine in the Maro. The onl thing we should be hoping for is the LSA. And we will get it. I say, again, Anniversary. 45th. 50th at the latest. Limited run. For about $55,995 give or take 2k in either direction.

kinda like your idea but I feel we already know the LS7 is on it's way out. doesn't mean there isn't another engine on it's way in that produces about the same for less money. do you know something i don't know? pm me if you do. lol
