long story short you just blew your power steering pump, I did the same thing in my wrx one day, it's from holding the steering wheel all the way in one direction for too long under load, no need to hold the wheel all the way in one direction to do donuts! The slightest wheel turn will whip you sideways!

Actaully ya it works don't ask me what happen I have no clue but it's normal maybe the car had to sit for awhile
