This is not mine. A friend of mine buys wrecked cars at auctions where insurance companies get rid of the ones they buy from people. He was browing around the auction site and found this one.

Thought I would post up the pics, hope this doesn't belong to anyone on here, dont want to bring back bad memories.

Yeah thats a bad one, it was at the insurance auto auction a while ago.

thats too heartbreaking to see..hope everybody involved is ok though.. when i see a crash like that i automatically think bad thoughts =(

Darwin wins again... I hope we're keeping track of the fallen. It will be interesting to know how many are left after the first couple years.. and yes it is sad when someone gets hurt or killed, but Camaros don't kill people.. people do....

Yea, this was only one of many that my friend found in a search on the insurance auctions site. If lots of them are being totaled, then there will be reason to jack up our rates.

Not sure about everyone elses, but my insurance Co. didnt have any data to give me a policy, only one other guy had a 2010 insured with them and they looked up his policy to find out which "codes" to insure me under. Im sure the codes meant something generic like "sports car", "lots of horsepower".

So since they couldn't find the car in their quote database yet, I guess that means the price I am paying now is sort of temporary based on generic parameters.
