Good luck with the process shad. From what little I understand, going from submitting a manuscript to seeing your work in print isn't an easy task. I think we have several writers on C5, makes me wonder if I've read books from people here and didn't realize it.

I remember you mentioning about writing somewhere. Can't remember where.

I'd be more than happy to check it out.

Have you actually finished any novels? I've finished a ton of short stories and a novella, but never a novel. Props to you if you have. I share the same dream, but for now I just write a tech news and advice column for a local weekly publication. :P

Don't give up on your dreams. Sometimes you have to put them on hold but don't quit. Getting paid for a job you love is not a job.

Good luck.

I'd love to read your short stories However, my brain has a hard time with novels or long threads

I tried writing a novel once - got to about 17,000 words and was just overwhelmed by how much I had left to do. Props to anybody who can pull it off.

I'd love to read some of your work sometime.

Why not have one (or both) of the novels you've already finished published? Seems a shame to just let them sit and go to waste.

Unless he becomes a famous author and after his passing they will be considered RARE and original.
