Isn't it kinda "curious" that NONE of the "Big Gun" shops showed up at the Optima Challenge at Spring Mountain after SEMA with their mega-dollar mega-hyped machines? Not a "controlled" enough environment?

It's not like the event was a secret, or that their invitations got lost in the mail...and several shops I can think of are VERY familiar with the pages of Hot Rod Magazine when it comes to spreading the word under "controlled circumstances"...

Maybe the Camaro5 Fest should host a similar event where 5th Gens from the "Big Guns" are expected to "show their stuff", publicly AND relatively... Throw in a 1/4-mile drag, short roadcourse, autocross and 0-60-0 "sprint-stop" ON THE SAME TIRES, and WITH THE SAME DRIVER throughout the events, and "may the best car win!"

Who'd like to see THAT?

That would be awesome to see but it's not that kind of party at the Fest. All of the "big gun shops involved" have agreed to help sponsor the event and they are bringing cars and running them against us just like everyone else. If they get knocked off along the way so be it.
