LMAO, Garage Support Network! LOL!

We're all going to need it. At least I got the chance to put a coat of wax on mine today. Not my regular stuff, but it looks much better and cleaner than when the dealer delivered it a few weeks ago. 430 miles, and I was hoping for so much more. Oil is still clean as a whistle in the V6. I would have liked to have gotten it to the 1500 mile mark and changed all the fluids.

Gosh, I am going to miss this car this winter.

Couldn't imagine having to put mine away for the winter, I feel bad for those who live in areas where you need to. I'll keep it in the garage on really rainy/stormy days but other than I'm gonna drive it as often as I can. One of the few benefits of living in CA.

Just put the cover on it last weekend! :( I will still bring it out on completely dry, 40 degrees and above days - not that we will have many at this point! This is going to be an even longer winter than usual! The up side is that I will be driving the Z28 - which I also love! It does ok (but, certainly not great) in the snow.

I'm going to miss my SS!!!!

If there's no snow on the ground, just keep them out. below 40 degree temps will not wreck your cars.

Really? I heard the tires started losing grip around 46 degrees - although I didnt really notice that - but I didnt push the car (acceleration or braking) when it was cold. What about below freezing temps?

Mines available til the first spreading of the salt & sand...no reason to put it away before then....no matter what the temps are.

I think they are just talking about under hard accleration. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Oh for sure it is NOT the temperatures...It is the SALT that get's put down in my area. Salt is the cheapest and most effective road de-icer that a state or municipality can employ. And it is CHEAP around here due to two different nearby Salt Mines.

I have seen salt sitting on dry surfaces during the winter. This get's tossed up by other cars and up into your wheel wells. I am very anal about keeping my cars as nice as I can. I work hours on them every week to keep them that way and for the most part in the RUST BELT it is a losing battle.

My last car I was able to kept out of the weather the last two winters. It is amazing to see the difference after two years when comparing to another car of the same vintage that was not stored.

My Camaro has been a dream for me for a long time and I've waited for this car. I went and detailed it today. Top to bottom including a full wheel and tire detail. While it only has 430 miles, the prep by the dealer was marginal and the car looks much better than it ever has.

I want to be able to pull the car out when I can, drive it when it is nice, then dust it and put it away. That is just me, and I am glad that I have the space and capability to do this at this time.

I think all the metro Detroit (Michigan) people should get together sometime this winter for some group support so we can get through the winter months without our cars.

Is it ok if I have 20 Camaro's, and they are all safe in my Forza3 garage?
