Great job 570, is this sponsorship for travel expenses or parts or what?

I have a meeting later this week with the owner of Portsmouth Chevrolet.
Looking like it will be for Gas for the Car and Tow vehicle. They may spring for a few oil changes for the car as well.

My office (inmotion technology) is giving me communications gear for the car. We have a router acting as a mobile internet hotspot. I can get GPS and Internet access while driving. Same technology we install in Police, fire and EMS vehicles. $2000.00 hardware box + $59.00/month cellular modem + laptop computer in the car.

This will let me use Nav software and display it, Email, web, ftp, etc.

I'm trying to see if any of them want to assist with tires.

I have visited with Ken and think he is the right guy for the company. LPE is such a fine name and there is a symmetry in the new owner sharing the name. Time will tell.

Allow me to politely disagree with this statement. To think I would ever visit Road America or some other road race course with the Camaro seems farfetched. A total stock Vette would make it look silly due to engineering or weight issues. Video and data coming soon.

Pete - Once again, it was a pleasure to meet you at SEMA and see the Pedders car in person. I'm looking forward to seeing what the results were on your recent events.

I have a couple questions that you may be able to answer. I am looking at some rims for street use and maybe 3 to 4 road track outings per year. For the best overall use and still daily drivability, what would you recommend? I am thinking about going with 19's. Would 275's - 285's all around work the best or 275's front and 305's rear??

I don't want to jack the thread, but a setup that squares up the narrow front track to the width of the rear track is mission critical. This will reduce the dreaded OEM understeer. Matched front to rear tires also help with the understeer issue. Stay away from the traditional muscle car stagger. That is a short as I can be.

Sorry about the short jack.

Pete, No thread jacking here. Almost all of us are LPE customers in here and some are waiting for their LPE rides.
Thanks for the reply on the wheels. I will probably do the 19's with 285's all around then.

I believe Paul2010 will the first of us to get it. I'm sure he will chime in and let us know how it is when his car is finished.
