So I am curious. Many dealers here are claiming to price the Camaro's at Invoice, yet how come the Edmunds Invoice pricing is cheaper than the invoice prices quoted here?

Edmunds.com says a base 2SS should cost $33076 incl freight.

It says $33,745 that's before ANYTHING, that's no options whatsoever at all, nothing. Not even counting freight.

Yeah that is MSRP....

I am talking about INVOICE pricing!

If you click on the link you will see that the base $33,745 is there right next to INVOICE which is $32,226. Add freight $850 and u get a total $33,076.

I ordered mine for considerably below invoice and the dealer is still making money on it.

A lot of people don't realize that invoice price is not what the dealer pays for it.

I've only seen dealers here claim to sell at MSRP plus discounts that apply... Never at invoice .....

I need to get a 2SS under invoice around the start of the year...any suggestions who will do a great price for it?

Last time I priced mine out on Edmunds, the true value was about $700.00 over sticker!

Okay just priced out again, msrp $33,760.00 about $555.00 over my msrp.
Dealer invoice $32,117.00
TMV (true market value) $35,728.00
That's $1,968 over msrp!

Under invoice? Why would a dealer want to do that? I can see below sticker, but not invoice. Dealers need to make a living.....

Come up here to Buff Whelan Chevrolet, biggest Chevy dealer in MI and they've got like 10-12 on the lot (in all colors) plus great people and great service.

I can barely afford that invoice price so I figure that it's better to make some profit than nothing....

I have seen a bunch of people saying they sell under invoice, so I am thinking that if I buy at a slow time in the Winter, I should be able to get a price I can afford

The economy is all messed up BECAUSE of the people who were gouging wherever they could, so now I feel that SOME profit is better than none

Besides....below invoice STILL holds a profit
