About the tags...we got ours and paid for tag, title fee and excise tax yesterday and came to $909.50. In Oklahoma u have a 30 day temp paper tag and have to register it before the 30 days is up or u pay a hefty penalty that is something like a $50 penalty plus .25 per day that u r late. If we waited to tag ours like u guys r punkin the tag, tax, and penalty would cost as much as the car lol. We renew the tags in Oklahoma every year and it is something like $130-150 until the car is like 5 years old them keeps going down every so many years plus u pay an extra $20 a year for the vanity plates. We have to keep the other tag in the car at all times when using a vanity plate. My father in law had an 89 gmc and his tag renewal was like $30. We will order our vanity plate after we close on our house. It takes 4 months to get it in so we have to make sure where we r moving to put the right address.

Got screwed by original dealer in Eufuala, Oklahoma on November 3, 2009.
Found new one at Paddock Chevrolet and drove 2400 miles roundtrip to pick her up in Buffalo, New York on Nov. 5, 2009.

We have really high tags....paid the sales tax at the dealer and still paid $960 for the tag. It won't go down much over the next 5 years either. It's really ridiculous!!!

I wouldn't enjoy it!! I love looking at it, but I am a warm weather person. It could stay summer all year and I would be happy. I freeze to death when the temps go below 50.

I don't think we have an excise tax here in Texas but we pay like $60 or something every year for renewal of our window sticker and license plate...to get a personalized license plate u have to pay an extra $40 a year on top of the renewal fee...

Well....it's dark time I get home in the evenings. Not to mention, I am having back problems, so I don't know when I will get to detail my baby. Hubby will be gone hunting for the weekend, so I can't bribe him into washing it for me either.
