Carlisle All-GM Nationals........June 22-24

I'll be there!!! A few friends of mine are planning to head up Thursday night and hang out all weekend and maybe do a little cruising besides entering the Camaro's in the show. I may do that.

As it gets closer Moosen75, I'll start a thread and see how much interest there might be in a caravan to Carlisle.

Super Chevy Sunday is when a good friend of my father will be sporting his '68 camaro w/ big block 503. He's the only wheelchair bound racer I know. His camaro is known as The Handicapper.

Yea, I just love how when I show my "ricer" friends the all show vs. all go poster and they actually laugh at it with agreement..... somewhat. Then of course they painfully try to defend their cars.

im pretty sure that aint a baldwin motion, but a ss. i though the only baldwin motion camaro was in 1970 and it was orange with black racin stripes along with stripes on the side of the car, and has the mufflers coming out of the side of the car kinda like the oldskool vettes.

I hate being deployed. I'm missing all the car shows. I get to look at all the Arabic market GMs though. Like the new Lumina SS(Pontiac G8 GT). And the Lumina SS coupe(Pontiac GTO/Holden Monaro). Plus I get to watch all these Kuwaitis drive around in their Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Bentlys, Maybachs, and other $100K+ cars. It makes me terribly jealous. Plus on the outer roads the cops don't patrol. You can pretty much go as fast as you want. In the city they have speed cameras and just mail your ticket. There is a speed limit here, but it's 120KPH which is about 75MPH. People here drive like luatics. Damn I want to go home!

I loved being in Bahrain and the UAE for all the reasons you just listed.

Yes if it wasn't so damn hot and a little more westerized. I would consder moving here just for the price of gas! It's maybe 20 cents a gallon on a bad day.
