Top of the price sheet maybe, certainly not top of the line, you can do alot better for alot cheaper. It's decent gear, but overpriced.

Nothing against the install, but as someone who has associated with some of the best installers and sound quality competitors in the world (including a 4-time world sound quality champion), I hate when the JL fanboys jump on the bandwagon.

I'll be going with a 3-way front stage, using Ultra 6-1/2" midbass, Vifa 4" midrange, and Ultra 1" tweeters. Midbass in the factory door position, midrange in the kicks (cutting a hole in the factory kick and covering with speaker grill cloth), tweeters in factory sail panel, Audison BitOne after factory head unit for tuning and crossovers.

If the factory head unit doesn't provide a clean enough signal, I'll add an hideaway CD changer w/ an optical output for the BitOne's optical input and external controller hidden in the center console.
