2010 I personally think this is an excellent combination. As a matter of fact this is the combination that I am going to run. The only time that I might race my car is on a straight away probably not on a curvey winding road so I don't think that I need the same size all the way around.
Paul, I think it all depends on how we will use our cars . We may need several sets of shoes. One set for autocross one for 1/4 and another for the street. LOL

Paul, I was thinking the same thing, I figure start with this setup, I'm matching Nitto 555R in the rear, with Nitto 555 (street) in front for better wear and wet traction. Then, if I don't like it or I'm wearing through tires like crazy, then save the 305's for the track, and get smaller, more durable for the street. Personally, after driving RS's, I'd like as much traction as I can get for now.

I don't know of anyone who has gone with headers. I think it is outside of the warranty scope. If you don't want a warranty I would try it out.

The way it was expained to me is: If you add headers you loose boost, most builders then use a smaller pulley to compensate. On most of the dyno sheets from those shops you can spot the belt slipping. All boils down to less life for your engine...hence LPE wont warrant or recomend adding headers.

All,
There is a pre-buy on replacement bulbs for the DRL bulbs..

with the bulb and a little re-wiring the DRL become fog lights.

MWS.. glad to see the black beauty arrived in El Paso. You been snake charming yet? LOL

See... EVERYONE told ya.. IT'S WORTH THE WAIT!!!

I have learned to "short shift". Not so much shorter, but earlier cause otherwise you hit the shutoff (as you have learned). you just need to shift early. It's kinda hard to say and do, as the engine is still pulling hard right to the shutoff point and it feels like you should have had more to use in that gear.

Yes, traction is going to be a problem. Bigger stickier tires are all we can do. Let the black snakes commence!
