What do you think the MAX HP rating is on the stock LS3

Does anyone know the max horsepower you can punch out the stock LS3 without imploding it??

Example: Strapping the LS3 with a supercharger, tune, and exhaust. If I'm starting to climb over 700hp will the LS3 handle without doing internal swaps?

The Octane in the fuel is going to be the first limiter of HP before you hit the limit of the parts.

It would not surprise me if someone takes one over 1000 hp on race gas safely.

well, if you are adding forced induction... it would be hard to implode the motor... lmao

but there are quite a few ls3s pushing past 800hp already

With a good tune, your going to break other parts first (clutch, tranny, rear parts )

But if one can eliminate wheel hop wouldn't that make for longer life on the mentioned parts. I see you making 550+ hp. Have you had any breakage?

What is the drive train loss on a LS3 M6?
I was told 15%??
