It is definitely worth the wait.
LOL, yeah, that would probably drive me crazy if I couldn't drive it right away!!

Looks like there's plenty of room in the front of the car in the garage. I think my garage is smaller than usual. We measured based on the measurements I found online, and it looks like it's gonna be a tight squeeze. The car is long!!

Compared to a Yugo yes, it is actually a little shorter than the wife's mini-van and 13 inches shorter than my 99 Dodge Intrepid but I am fortunate enough to have an over-sized garage so plenty of room front-to-back, the thing that I had to be careful of was the swing of the door because it is much longer than my Dodge Intrepid. I solved this by picking up some pieces of scrap carpet at Home Depot, lathering the back of it with Construction Adhesive and basically pasting it to the concrete foundation on the wall side of the car. The passenger side almost swings far enough to contact the mini-van.

Is there any way to find out what the trucking company is besides calling my dealer?

I don't believe so, the Camaro tracking folks only watch AAG and Cassens, not sure if it is the only two they choose to watch or the only ones they have access to. They couldn't track my truck either because it was delivered by a local carrier, not a national one like AAG/Cassens since it was essentially a local delivery from where it was dropped at the rail yard to the dealer. Just a guess though.

D'oh. Camarotracking isn't showing a trucking company. It just says shipped by truck (railyard), from Saturday and nothing since then. It's killing me not knowing if it's on a truck or not yet. :(

Me too. I thought sure I would have gotten a call today. I just have to learn patience.

I know the car will be here soon. I was just hoping to have it for the drive to my sis and brother-in-law's house for Turkey Day. Unless I get the call tomorrow and can pick it up Wednesday, that's not gonna happen.

I am here in Va as well and have followed the status of your auto with great interest as my TPW is 11/23/2009 and I was trying to establish a pattern for delivery timeframe. Hopefully my Camaro will follow an uneventful path home as yours...... 2SS/RS CGM/ Silver Stripes/GXP. Trying to stay cool but.....Beginning to get excited in Northern Va.

That would be the only thing to make me go out and fight the tide on Black Friday!!

As of 20 minutes ago my Train made it to Welton, Arizona and traveled about 960 mile in 30 hours .... So we're about 250 away!!!

Scheduled dileivery to Mira Loma, CA. is about 8am tomorrow!!! Please let it be so .... !!!!

Question is will the truck get it to my dealer same day?? I see or some of you it's taken many days ... Anybody had it make the move in a day? I'm talking 25 miles Rail to Dealer ...

If so ... It ust might be possible to get it Wednesday ...

Trying not to set my expectations too high, but hope it's possible.

Congrats to you new owners!! Happy for you and love the pix!

Mine has been setting in Nashville on the train for 48 hours :( I talked to the dealer yesterday afternoon and he said that he was going to call the rail yard in the AM and tell them to "mark it hot" so that it would get off loaded and onto a truck tomorrow... nothing to do but wait and see.

Thanks SlingShot, I haven't been getting the pain in the neck because it has been garaged since Friday, but I do find myself going into the garage to "find things" more often than usual. I have also put shock collars on all my kids so if they get within five feet of the car they drop to the ground and foam at the mouth, keeps the scratches down :-)
