Cup Holders

Am I the only one who thinks the cup holders are a pain, My elblw keeps falling in the cup older. They should have only put one in, And made the center console a little bigger

It's the same set-up in the Mustang - I hate it. I quickly developed the "rule" that only soda cans were allowed. Anything else is incredibly annoying with a manual transmission.

Sounds like we need an aftermarket door or panel to go over one or both.

I have learned to adapt to mine, I use a coffee thermos/cup with a lid and have my coffee and an armrest while shifting.

it was a BAD idea, whom ever authorized the position as a good idea, has never had a cup or glass of ANYTHING in a car with a cup holder in our cars position......once again the person that htought up this had this going on.........

Yeah it sucks if you have the M6 and a drink is in there....I have to be reaching over it to shift.

I solved that problem though.....just no more drinks in my car!!

Cup holders and emergency brake look like a complete design afterthought.

Emblempros probably can make a cover for the cup holder - they did one with switches - with the A6 I don't need to address this issue but perhaps one of you want to contact them...

This was the first thing I noticed when I saw the interior photos!!!! really really crazy I tshouldn't be this way, they should have made a cover (sliding like the one in the new Traverse) to cover it up when you don't need them so it can be used as an arm rest!!

May be they want us to keep our hands on the wheel all the time when driving the car HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHeeeeee

I much prefer the Corvette setup off to the side. You might as well not have a drink in the cupholder with a 6 speed Camaro.

hate the handbrake, so damn plastic lmao
Cup holder dont bother me, you need two, but there really is no where else to put them. Fits a medium coffee fine though. No problems with the cupholders for me, until my gf comes in trying to put her damn large cans in there!

LMAO!

Cupholders are such a funny thing to complain about. Too many, not enough, too small, too big.....

The Saturn Astra Forum I was on complained about every thing especially the single cup holder and the lack of an armrest on the center console area. Shoot, that car was so tight for two adults that an arm rest would get in your way!
