I want the cops to hear that I have my foot in it so that they can be ready with their radar gun to help me to see if my speedometer is really accurate.

Brainhart thanks for posting that vid. It has made up my mind. Thats a good and cheap alternative that sounds really great. It sounds better than alot of the mufflers on here and sounds similar to a loudmouth just a little milder which is perfect. Tell me did it hurt performance torque wise in the low end when launching in your car? Or is it better. A drive by with you getting down on the gas video would be awesome to.

This was EXACTLY what I was going to post!

Just put on SLP Loudmouth II and the difference is AMAZING! Once we get the ARHeaders on, look out!

Holy s***! You're even from my home town! Go BHS Beavers (what a lame school mascot, but oh well)! LOL! Did that have anything to do with why you chose orange?

So why change your exhaust, how are guys claiming power differences by replacing them,,both good and bad...Please explain!

Just an observation -

It's all about noise for me - I feel the car is fast enough for what I am using it for -- but I want to hear it and I want to be heard.

+1

I opted for the axle back LM II.. just wanted just a little deeper tone and still fairly quiet inside and got exactly what I wanted.

Thanks everyone for the cutaway photos and specific information. It aappears that the L99(automatic) muffler is distinguishable from the LS3 (manual) visually by the number of visible spot welds on top of the OEM muffler. The more restrictive 'chambered/stuffed' one has six (6) visible spot welds on the top while the "straight thru" LS3 has only 3 visible spot welds on top. Is this correct? Also has anyone cut open a V6 LLT muffler? I sure would like to see what is going on inside that one also. Thanks. LGNDLT5

Have you guys noticed improvement in HP, by deleting the mufflers or replacing them? Or MPG? I'm happy with mine. I see between 22 to 26 on HWY.

The tech at MTI said the same thing. The stock mufflers flow really well.
