There is overwhelming support that a Z28 may take a while. Fbodfather has stated that the Z28 is not a doomed project since other enthusiasts within GM are sure to push hard for the platform regardless of corporate policy for the SS to be dominant. At the same time, a Bumblebee Camaro is evidently in the works, a project that will cost GM some resources to develop. Any potential Z28 will come to fruition after some form of Bumblebee is a success.

I'll be waiting for my finances to catch up to the SS. Within a couple of years, I'll have my dream pony car. If you want to wait, there will be plenty of us keeping you company, waiting for features, updates, or trims that aren't ours yet.

yeah who knows, that bumble bee could have a more powerful engine option. I just wish GM would announce any plans for the future before January when we can put in orders first.

Just ask yourself, how many cars has GM made that didn't have a superior model one or two years later?

GTO LS1 then LS2
C6 LS2 then LS3 then LS7(Z06) then LS9(ZR1)........etc so on and so on.
Robert92RS, I like the way you think.

I would expect them to offer it with later model year. Like 2012.
Just guessing. This way they can look at charts and decide. If sales are strong then we probably will see a Z car.
