If you've driven all three and still want a Challenger, why the hell are you asking anybody else?

your main consideration should be the looks and driving feel, which one do you think looks the best to you and handles to your tastes. On the performance stuff if you are inclined to make mods then it just depends on how much you want to spend to get the HP you want.

If you do a comparison of the different Camaro Models to the Challenger Models you will find that Camaro is the obvious choice ! Look at how your car will be used and then get the model suited for your use. For me the LS was the choice since it is an everyday car for me and my 69 SS is my cruiser. May change when the convertible acutually see the light of day !

2. Fully independent suspension front and rear
3. Mustang has an old fashoned rear axle and rear is not independently sprung..
4. 60 day return policy or $500.00 off,"if you don't like it bring it back"
5.304 horsepower in the V6, Challenger has much less and Mustang has a 250 hp V6
6.The style of the Camaro, It's outsold its two rivals for months..

I could go on and on,but i'm biased like a lot of people on this website!!!

I did not say that they were slower than the Camaro.

I said you would have to spend all that extra MONEY to get the SRT8 or GT500 in order to get something faster (competition). The GT or the RT (similar price range to the SS) are not even CLOSE. I am sure that when the Z28 comes out... not even the SRT8 or GT500 will stand a chance!

The SRT8 will barley keep up with an SS, not sure where you get your info.

We did some careful research prior to ordering/purchasing our Camaro - road tests, performance, etc. Everything we read - Camaro beat Mustang & Challenger in almost every category. The first time I sat in our newly delivered Camaro - I was in love. Everything about the car is perfect - style, ride, etc. We have the 2SS/RS V8 and you barely have to step on the gas pedal - it is quick to the touch. I would hate to see the power if you actually floor it! Challenger IS pretty if you do it right, but to us, they were top heavy and drove like a Tahoe. The Camaro corners beautifully and performs to our expectations. Mustang is okay - we never drove it but never interested. We are Camaro lovers though so we are probably biased!

Check your facts. The GT500 just nearly nudges past the SS .1 seconds faster in 0-60.

The SRT8 is SLOWER than the SS by alot. 5.5 second 0-60.

The Camaro is the hottest car to come out in decades. You don't want a car like the Camaro. It stands out in a crowd too much. It's too fast, too powerful, and the styling is too revolutionary.

Help out the Dodge and Ford dealerships. Those poor guys have loads of Challengers and Mustangs just sitting on their lots, two model years at the same time. Don't buy a Camaro. They're too much in demand. Oshawa can't build them fast enough to keep up.
