A new '67. I was 18. It was an SS396 with RS package. Butternut Yellow coupe with black standard interior and Turbo 400 with column mounted shifter. Probably a very rare set up as most automatics were console shifters, but the console was an option and if you didn't order it, you got a column shifter.

A brand new '95 3.4 V6 in bright red with the nice Z28 wheels. The prettiest car i've ever owned. That car got such a massive amount of attention when i had it,though i lusted after the Z28,but i was 16,if i had that car,it would killed me.
My Camaro had some problems, but i put a ton of miles on it and it was my first new car so it's got a special place on my list of cars i've owned. Traded it for a laser red '99 Mustang V6.

I'd have to do some serious digging to find pictures of my one and only, thus far, Camaro. It was a '85 sport coupe, fuel injected V6, 5 speed, F41, with the full set of gauges. I ended up spending too much fixing things on a car that had only 35K on it when I bought it 3 days after Christmas, 1988. I should never have trusted the dealer service department, they were a bunch of shadetree mechanics posing as a dealer service department. This from the city's largest Chevrolet dealer. The one thing they did get right was that the catalytic converter was about clogged. You can't imagine how much difference that made.

Most of the time, though, I really enjoyed the car, and did take it to quite a few autocrosses, where I let my main competitor worry about the cost of his Gatorbacks while I slowly developed the skill to sneak up on his times with a car that was, in fact, heavier and less powerful. He had a Daytona Shelby Z.

Letting this car go was one of the few choices when it comes to cars that I really regret. I ended up planning to trade it on a Escort GT, and due to the situation (transmission needing rebuild at 79k, thanks again to the dealer), settled for less, and ended up hating the result violently.

My first Camaro was a '68 SS 396 BB and bought it my Junior year of HS for senior project in automotive shop. The car was restored to almost new condition and enjoyed it for a year before I was an "IDIOT" and sold it to a friend before going into the Navy and getting transferred overseas. "(

My first Camaro @ 17 was a 1971 Chevelle LT1 M-22 Black.

My second Camaro was a 1983 Firebird S/E WS6 manual Black.

I'm seriously upset now. That REALLY sux.

I know you will be back in the saddle soon, my friend!!

As for me, my first Camaro was a base '69 V6 coupe that came from California and eventually ended up in Texas.

I bought it and brought it back to life about 20 years after it was born.

I owned it for about 2 years before it was wrecked during an unfortunate "yellow light means go" incident by another driver that turned into my path at an intersection.

See avatar picture.

Keep the pics coming, y'all!

that is the end of the story. i didnt hear anything about it and i havent seen it since. Whoever stole it knew what they were doin and prolly chopped it up quick. This is a big problem in southeast louisiana. My new camaro will be in a garage so i shouldnt have any problems.
