You may can also point to the Mustang's better individual handling test because of it's relatively low HP and weight compared to the Camaro.

yup. cuz anyone who got a 2010 mustang either dosent care about 2011 or purchased the car for looks and does not give a crap about HP. Or they needed a new car right away and had no choice.

thats business my friend. and serious mustang owner knew better to wait until 2011. seriously.

Not in the least. If you look at the LLT, its max ratings in the vehicles that use it has been 304hp/273lb-ft since it came out.

Look at similar engines in similar platforms from other companies and it either beats them outright or is really competitive.

My view is that GM has seen no need to bump up the power.

With Ford now putting 300 ponies in their base pony, that may be the reason they need to push things to the next level.

That is not my question. They included prices for something you did not get. That is like adding a navigation option on your car, not recieving, but being forced to pay for it.

uhhhhhhh not quite........ its like selling a product at a high price in anticipation of delivering a higher quality product the next year. they make up the money quicker that way.

That would be dealer mark-up. According to mustang owners, this was added to MSRP.

car prices go up every year without explanation. why is explanation warranted in 2010? its not

But Mustang owners gave an explanation, even though you say one is not needed. The explanation that car prices go up every year is due to many issues: Inflation, Price of Production, Cost of Living, etc.

Should we also bitch it is unfair to compare them because the Mustang does not have Brembo Brakes and the Camaro does?

No considering I did not mean it to that extreme, and that shouldn't be an issue anyway considering the bremos come standard without some special package. However, the argument I just made is very similar to the "The Camaro has 100 more HP" argument that is so common among mustang owners, so I don't see a reason why you are so upset.

I got news for you, if I can order it from the factor like that, its fair. Just because GM doesn't offer it, its not far? Tough luck.

Would you choose to ignore advantages created by a factory performance package offered by GM in the future? Yea right.

As a consumer, you'd be stupid to 'ignore' the track package just because GM doesn't offer one. Infact that might be a selling point for the Mustang.

There is no validity to that argument either.

These threads will never die...or will everyone see eye to eye. I like the fact that Ford is offering those different packages for the V6. Maybe GM will pay attention to it, for the performance minded V6 owners
