Had to buy new vacuum attachments today. I'm obsessed with dust accumulation on dash, console etc. lol. Shhh, don't tell anyone but I also keep the laundry room door open sometimes so I can glimpse at it while I putz around the house. It is like a family member now so I don't want to neglect it!!

Look at the bright side - you will probably have the least amount of mileage on your Camaro for a while!

I do the same thing while at my parents, but I don't have access to a hose at my apartment, so I can only clean the inside. I already spent like $40 on cleaning products.

And I don't blame you for wanting to glance at it every once in a while...that's perfectly natural!

Sorry I haven't posted an update lately. My Camaro was delivered on Sunday. It has been quite a long trip getting this car, but it was well worth the wait.

I just had my hood spears put on today, along with the gill accent stripes and the retro 67 emblems.

LOL...you're not alone. The black dash really shows the dust. So I got a Swiffer duster and dust whenever I get a chance.

I went out today and one of the stops was Panera Bread for lunch. I parked away from everyone else, and got a window seat where I could see the car. I guess I didn't see the pteradactyl that must have flown over the car and deposited a huge poop on the driver side mirror and rear quarter panel. It was gross. I cleaned it off as soon as I got home.

Cheif, those stripes look great! My hubby pinstriped my car and it was supposed to be temporary until I decided if I liked it, but I love it and have gotten a lot of compliments on it, so I think it's staying. The stripes are pink.

Does anyone have one person, friend or family member, who they cringe when they have them riding in their car? One of my best friends just doesn't get the "car respect" thing and I am really afraid when I have to have her in my car. I think next time it's my turn to drive, I will have to take our '97 Tahoe.

She just scares the crap out of me! Today, we were loading shopping bags in the trunk and she had her pocketbook on her shoulder with her keys hanging off it. I saw the keys start to get dangerously close to the paint and I said "Eeeeee, your keys!!!" So she moved her bag. I can't afford those kind of heart attacks every time she rides with me.

chieffarkas - looks great! I love the retro emblems.

Karen - As much as I hate thinking about driving an SUV after a Camaro...sounds like you don't have a choice unless you tell your friend to be careful (or wrap your Camaro in bubble wrap

).

I can't wait to wash mine this weekend. The weather has been miserable here and my poor baby is filthy.
