Camaro5Fest. . .

California Camaro Owners. . .

I was wondering how many (if any) of you guys are planning on attending the Camaro5Fest in April, and if anyone has organized a convoy in your area? We have started one in Central Oklahoma and was curious if any convoys from the west would be interested in joining us for the rest of the trip once you reach our state? We are planning to leave the Thursday morning before the event and arive mid day in Georgia that Friday, any thoughts?

No plans for me yet, but if I win the lottery or my wife is able to get a job soon, I'll be there.

Thanks for the invite!

Guys I know its a beast of a drive. But we would truly love for you guys to get out there if possible.

You are probably the most active region on the boards. In large part to Tri.

I've driven it and I know it's a long drive for a weekend of Fest.

I appreciate the invite, and thanks again, but it would take almost 2 days of straight driving each way! Then, 1 weekend of "rest" And I couldn't do that myself, so I'd ask my girlfriend to join. Then multiple complications of time off from work, who takes care of the zoo (5 animals) at home...etc.

Total Travel Estimate: 33 hours 12 minutes / 2256.82 miles - ONE WAY!

Thanks! Maybe if you guys do one a little more Central to the US in 2011!

Michael J.

I agree with Michael. If the fest was possibly more centralized it would be do-able.

yeah, i couldn't do that drive just because of my work schedule alone. i don't have many vacation days each year (7) and i use them for holidays, birthdays, and my anniversary. so i'm usually only lef with like 2 or 3 days tops.
