Did the fuse pull (LS3 M6) 1110 miles and it drasticly improved shifting as far as performace it is hard to say as I have not hammered on it too badly, but seems more responsive. I hope it lasts as I have heard of this quick fix not lasting so I will keep watchig the forum for updates. Thanks too all for all the posts.

Mine has been good since the day I pulled it on August 23rd.

Did the fuse pull on my 2SS Auto at about 650 miles, made a very noticable change in power and smoother shifting.
I also noticed my exaust tips looked very dark and sooty before the fuse pull, possibly indicating a too rich fuel mixture. After the fuse pull the exaust color looks much lighter too.
Now with almost 1000 miles, I'm smiling a lot bigger every time I start it up.
Combined highway/small town city driving averaging around 19mpg.
Loving every minute of it.

Did the fuse pull back in August and I was thrilled with the result.
It was not a permanent fix.
At some point ( I would say in the last 2-3 weeks I said to myself "Hmmmmmmm."), and my best "guess" is that it was Speedway 93 octane instead of Shell 93 octane, the improvement was lost.

Yesterday I picked up the car after an oil leak was repaired. I had also mentioned to the dealer that when I left the dealer the day they first looked at my oil leak, a passenger airbag warning light had come on.
GM's recommended fix to the dealer was a memory clear I believe.
Whatever they did exactly as far as the fuse(s) pulled, I'm not positive.
But the same mind boggling improvement in performance was evident yesterday.

When is there going to be a permanent fix to this, and who do we put pressure on to get it?

what i dont understand is why are people running 0-60 with the traction control off in some of these video's. Just assuming i would think you would want the traction control on to keep down spinning. Do you get to 60 faster with it off? If so could someone please explain?

Did the fuse pull yesterday. Let it sit all night. I drove it this morning and it is a lot more responsive. Last Tuesday I did a few 0-60 runs, TC off, in M. Averaged 5.35 seconds, temp was 54 degrees. I did a 0-60 today in 4.9 seconds, temp was 53 degrees.

I don't know about the Camaro, but in most other GM cars the traction control kills way more power than it needs to, when it kicks in. On my 2004 GTO, it's almost dangerous because if you squeal the tires a little, traction control comes on and shuts down your acceleration so much you are a sitting duck in traffic.

I did mine yesterday LS3 did the fuse pull and disconnect the battery and let it sit overnight (11hours) I noticed it shift better especially when it's cold as for performance I didn't notice any change.but according to my dealer it had 95 since day one.

Though my car is still on the high fuel table and running good, I would like to see them fix the issue.

I know on mine, there seems to be a slight hesitation that wasn't there when it was hot and humid. I have since found that I get better times when I turn it off and feather the throttle to get traction because there is NO hesitation due to TC.

After a fuse pull and some improvement I took in my L-99 to the dealer. They found it had been detonating and re-flashed it. Then handed me a new document # 2366489 dated Nov-4, 2009. It states the car needs 93 octane or higher. Now folks, that is not possible in California. I dumped in 100 octane racing fuel and she is way better (after about 20 miles) but to be honest this for me is unacceptable. Anyone have the same experience?

Throwing myself into the mix. When I picked up the car (LS3) a couple weeks ago the dealer had filled it with 87, despite me telling them not to. Anyway, drove though the entire tank of regular, ran through a full tank of 91 this past week until it was almost bone dry, just filled up last night and when I go t to work this morning I pulled the 5 and 20 fuses. Figure it will sit for a good 6-7 hours before I fire it up this afternoon. I have been breaking the car in hard over the past week as per the Darin Morgan break-in thread. The car hasn't really seemed to be "peppy" at partial throttle but has solid pull at WOT so halfway home during my 96 mile commute home from work I'll drop off the interstate a few time and then get on it hard getting back on to see how things are. She is definitely herky jerky in the morning just running through the first few gears early in the morning and I too figured it was just because it wasn't warmed up but yesterday I noticed it was a bit jerky even after up to temp. The again it could be my getting use to the clutch and a tendancy to "ride the mechanical bull" Lucky for me, I have a gas station right outside my development that has 93 octane as everthing else in the area is 91.

One question I have because I didn't have time to read the ENTIRE thread, I see the title has been changed to "LS3 needs battery disconnect", is this actually the case with the LS3 or is the fuse pull sufficient. Sorry to have to ask this but trying to get through 25 thread pages for the definitive answer while in a meeting at work with folks asking you questions is tough, telling them to pipe down because I am reading the fuse pull thread doesn't go over to well
