My guess is that they want to offer a Green Camaro to make their image seem "Green." As in environmentally friendly and sustainable, and the best way to do that is in a more fuel efficient vehicle. I'm happy with my 18mpg V8 (which is great considering the output) but I understand what they want to do. Still, it seems like they could at least offer it with the L99...

Most sales have been the V-8 SS/RS & even the V-6 were Primarily RS so it seems to me they are trying to sell what isn't selling-1LT

Vega the panzie part isn't the v6, its the color. That thing is hideous. Not everyone who has a v6 got it because they're afraid of an 8. The 8 I was afraid of was the extra 8 grand that I didn't have to get a 2SS vs 2LT.

i understand they're trying to boost 1LT models.
but what i don't get is this: aqua blue didn't sell well so they got rid of it. I doubt that a color like green, which isn't that common for cars, would be 1st choice for a lot of people in the first place. so why are they limiting it even more by only making it available for 1LT's w/o the RS package?
