This is my daily driver, it drives great, the rear end doesn't bother me at all, a little chirp when turn in a parking spot not a big deal. The diff won't handle low 1.5 60ft times. I broke it on a 1.50 60 time at the lsx shootout. I don't want to put skinnies and different brakes on the car. The brakes are great on these cars why change them. We just re geared the 4l80e 1st and 2nd gear, so the next track outting we plan to get our time. Also stock ecu in the car.

Thanks
Owen

It's a great post... now to play devil's advocate, why change the whole drivetrain and spend all the moolah when you could have sunk about half the moolah into an LS3 and gotten the same result or better??? doesn't make sense to me but whatever :fighting0040:

Slicks and skinnies aren't that big of a deal. not with people running low 9s hi 8s on 17s and 18s.

To Owen.
What was the the deal with 1st to 2nd shift? And what setup do you have for a rearend,
Besides the welded spider gears?

If this 4700lb whale with a little ole 392(and a V7 YSI & little shot of nitrous) can run 9.6's so can this bad ass camaro!! Good luck, she'll run the number once you get her dialed in!
