eh, still not a fan. It looks like they took a REAL blue and watered it down with silver. I'm on a personal campaign against silver and BLAH colored cars. This is nothing but a BLAH Blue. I'll make my final color choice when I see one in person. Aqua Blue looks different in every picture. The ONLY one that looks sorta good to me is the one close up of the wheel. (because it is darker and seems to have more blue than silver)

Did you see that one at Bill Heard Chevrolet? If so, I saw it too and these pictures don't quite match up with the "in person" color. In person, when it's in the sun (no clouds to dilute the light), it seems to take on a more "light teal" color than the blue shown above.

Here's a picture I found online that fits better with the color I remember seeing in person:

Compare that to this one:

And just to contrast, here's an HHR in Imperial Blue:

I'll have to wait until I can see all the colors on the Camaro before choosing. I'm thinking that I may go with Aqua Blue and white stripes (had to rule out the Red Jewel based on seeing it in person on a Malibu) but I want a spoiler reminiscent of the first gen ones....you know, kind of like this but about 40 years newer.

I just wish that Imperial blue was a couple of shades lighter. It might as well be black from a distance.

AMEN TO THAT. When I first saw the Z in that shade of blue I yelled and pointed and told my wife "THAT'S THE SHADE OF BLUE I WANT" (But on an AMERICAN car.)

or better yet how about this blue?

Chevy already HAS it. USE IT.
And NO, I'm not a Giants fan, but the blue on thier helmets is perfect.

The Aqua Blue reminds me of this blue used on the Dodge Superbee.

Which was okay, but still not what I want. But I like it better than any picture of Aqua Blue that I've seen.

Agreed. I've seen Imperial Blue on HHR's and Malibu's and I think it is too close to black, especially when it's not out in full sunlight.

For me, the perfect blue on the new Camaro would be this (2003 GM Electron Blue):

I think all these ABM pictures look great, 100X better than Imperial blue which looks like a buick color to me. I think this whole thing of hating on Aqua Blue is GMs fault! They never should have put that horrible shop on the Chevy website, its still there isnt it! How many casual camaro fans will think thats really what the color looks like. Stupid mistake GM! (p.s. I love G.M) People take color seriously into account when buying a car!!
