I have a question about where the headers connect to the exhaust, In ADM 2 " header and magnaflow set up they have it weilded together i think. so now in the 1 7/8 header and magnaflow setup i think you said that you have "LPE Flanges for Headers & Exhaust" is that for a bolt up connection ?

And I can wait to see your numbers!! please post Dynograph when you get a chance!
Both setups are using flanges in the same spot

I think "slip fits" are the standard out of the box setup. I like the looks and accessibility of the flanges though, and Andy's masterful welding makes adding the flanges a piece of cake.

Totally agree with Number_9 above. It is also a much more stable connection joining the header with the midpipe. These were welded while the headers were off the cars and then coated. Number_9 is not using CATS while I am using coated Hi-Flo CATS on my setup.

I bought the widened wheels package that ADM is offering on their website. Worth every dime... it's unreal how bad a** these wheels look on the car... makes the others (which are now my fronts) look like training wheels! Hahahaha.

Sounds really good. There should be a section, if one doesn't already exist, for different exhaust combination sound clips.

#9...I've heard that if ya go with a 3" system Like your's you will loose
bottom end torque unless you are making 500 HP..But if I'm reading this
rite, you actually gained from the 2.5 system to the 3"??..I geuss the back
pressure's not an issue?..If I can keep my engine stock and not loose any
torque with this my decision is made!

I am not sure about the validity of what you heard... as opening up the exhaust reduce any restriction and therefore be better in all regards. You can see in the dynograph that the torque definitely increased, along with the rear wheel horsepower.

How does the car react now?

Does it seem more responsive over your previous setup?

Andy
