My '67 was great in the snow. My '99 was amazing in the snow as well. The '99 had a button on the dash above the stereo that said, "SGS". When you hit that button the transmission would start out in second gear to minimize wheel slip. You could still spin the tires but at least it was easier to get moving. Not like it was that difficult anyway.

Now my Fusion sucks in ice and snow and it's FWD. Go figure.

I think we may get our chance tomorrow in NY and CT!!!...just got my snow tires on a few weeks ago...

I drove my RWD '76 Firebird all the time in the snow and ice...and that was BEFORE traction control and ABS...

You just have to be careful of the other 'idiots' on the road that don't drive according to road conditions...

They think they can still go just as fast in the rain and snow as they do when it's dry and sunny out...

I'm curious to see how well my car 'behaves' in the snow, but I am NOT looking forward to it...

Be careful out there everybody!!!...

Looking forward to the snow... as I do every winter.

M6 2LT with LM60 Blizzaks on all four corners. Rear window defroster and heated seats and mirrors... block heater.

Weather Tech floor mats, onstar enabled and I have my ice scraper/brush in the back seat floor area.

This IS my winter car... eh!

My summer car is going to be the Z28... and I hope it has a 3.6 V6 twin turbo in it.

It snowed here today, so I put my Camaro away until spring. :(

I DO like driving my Silverado in the snow though...... It's a tank!

Took it out to find the nearest hill. Granted it did not snow hard but I found a nice unplowed and undriven back road with a good sized hill. I had no issues it is light years ahead of my front wheel drive civic and on par with my Buick in handling the snow. Granted I am running snow tires VS. all seasons on the other cars but still the difference was dramatic, like I was on dry pavement.

Why even risk it? Look around and you can find a used suv for under 3k that will get you through the winter.

I drove a 79 camaro and a 72 chevelle in snow. Granted they didn't have traction control, but... I just picked up this beast on eBay for the nasty michigan winters
