Nice! But I'll take mine without the hockey stripes; give me the twin hood and rear stripes in red (painted, of course).

After looking through the aftermarket for the Mustang, I'm pretty sure within just a few months we will have all the badges we could ever want. I think I will reserve my judgement till then. Just to see what will be available to us.

I totally endorse putting the SS badge in the middle of the grille, for it is a hallmark of the 1969 Camaro from which the 5th-gen is derived. However, a more contemporary SS script would be prudent to compliment the more contemporary styling which is why the one shown on the black car with red stripes and the one I have in my sig (larger version in the photoshop thread) would be better.

I wouldn't worry at all about this since it is a demand so high that the aftermarket will entertain our desire for one within months of the vehicle's release.

It definitely looks better centered. Big enough you can see it from a Mustang rear view mirror, small enough it doesn't look like you stole it off of the neck of a rapper named peediddley. 1/4 of the grill height looks pretty good....They all look better than off center small.

I agree totally.
Also looking forward to replacing the whole grille assembly asap.
Its to large and clunky/chunky for my tastes.
Unless GM decides to some sort of 'real' RS treatment to the grille/headlights.

New guy here. 1st post. Here is a photoshop I did awhile back with moving the chevy emblem down, the SS emblem in the center, with what I would like to see, hideaway headlights.

I saw a picture of the grille without the Bowtie and the grille was recessed to accommodate the Bowtie. I think it was the IVER from Indy, but I can't find the close up of the missing emblem. A different emblem in its place wouldn't look good, IMO.

To keep everything in sync with the current style of emblems, why not just add (and modify, if necessary), the stock SS emblem under the Camaro emblems on the fenders?

OOOH! That's a good idea too! Just like the 302 on the cowl induction hoods!

Where do you get an LS3 emblem/decal?
