Scotty, can you do the drop shipping thing to Canada, too?
I doubt if you can but thought I'd ask.

No, GM will not allow us to cross the border with sales.

I don't know if anyone's said anything about the Tampa Bay area here in FL, but I just spoke with a sales manager at Castriota Chevrolet in Hudson, FL named Pat, and I asked about mark-up. His words were to the effect of "they're bringing it out too late... demand isn't that high any more", so pretty much "no" to mark-up. In addition to that, he said I could get special pricing since I work with the local sheriff's office, who recently bought a ton of new Impalas from them! I'm only driving Chevys, even on the job! Woo-hoo!!

I wish our PD would buy Impala's.......but the staffs says they just don't have the room the CV has......now, does that mean they are too big, or the car's too small? (I know them , so I tease!) The Chief also says they don't hold up as good, which I know from reading on the web is not really true.

the nice thing is the Impala police edt. gets at least 3mpg better the the Ford CV....so your tax payers are saving big $$$$$ in municipal fuel costs.

Our Department uses CVs. After the rear cage is installed, the front seats still have enough room for 6 footers and the bad guys still fit in the back.

The Chevys just don't allow for leg room after a good cage is installed.

BTW, this is my first post. Yea me.

I am waiting for the buzz to fall off, then I am gettng a L99.

Yeah, believe me, I hear it from my buddies all the time about how small the Impalas are, and I'll admit, I drove a CV when I first got hired, and they are a bit roomier. But hey, it's a Ford... just didn't feel right to me. And honestly, driving the CV felt like I was driving on water. The handling just felt so loose compared to the Impala. I'm much happier in my cruiser now!

They will price it at MSRP...which i hope is a good deal.
Sounds pretty good.
I hope many other dealerships will do the same.
PEACE!
