What is the weight difference each front & back wheel/tire set?

Thanks!

Had intended on getting some outside pics today but the weather didn't cooperate, has been raining/sleeting/snowing here in Jersey almost all day. I may be able tomorrow.

I am not sure, but either FEN of 6liter posted they saved about 4-5 pounds per wheel which is pretty impressive given the added width of the rims and extra meat on the tires. Don't take my word for it though as I did not put them on the scale, Shoulda thought of that before I bolted them on.

As soon as the weather cooperates I'll be getting a full set of outside pics...

In a short, sweet, non thread highjacking way of answering, all you could ever want is here and yes great for kids. PM me if you want to talk more.

Yeah i wouldnt doubt that the stock wheels weigh more even though they're quite skinnier. Stock wheels usually are a buttload.

OK, I finally got away from the house today in the sunshine to take some shots of the car so here they are...

Also got some shots while my father and I had her up on the lift installing the Barton Short Throw Shifter.

Here is a shot of the right rear from the back of the car, you can see there is about a half inch between the inside of the tire and the well wall (note I haven't lowered the car yet and when I do there will need to be a camber adjustment to regain this clearance afterward, at least that is what I have read from 6liter in his CCW/coilovers post) and there is about two inches to the outside edge of the upper spring cup (or whatever it is called), speedster had asked about this measurement, toward the bottom, if you are looking at the rear of the car in a dead straight line at the inside edge of the rim (the backside edge just lines up with the front edge, the rim edge is within a quarter inch of overlapping the bottom shock nut and bolt, note I said over laps it, visually speaking, it has more clearance than since the edge of the bolt sits inside the diameter of the rim but if someone wanted to get a wider rim (I guess in speedster's tubbed scenario) that would put the bolt INSIDE the rim, I would opt for a shorter bolt to ensure clearance of the inside of the rim. The lowest edge of the lower arm is about 1.5-2 inches away from the inside edge of the rim but looks like it is inside the diameter of the wheel so a wider rim would be able to clear the arm, at least that is how it looks with these particular wheels. Now I am not %100 sure I am measuring the right stuff but hopefully the pictures help.

Right rear...

Left rear...

Left front shot from the front of the car, I can get a pinky finger ( a little more than a 1/4 inch) clearance between the tire's edge and the bottom spring cup.

Right front shot from the front of the car.

robertway/6liter,

Great looking combos. Thanks for sharing the info. I'd hate to have something shipped to Hawaii and I can't use it due to fitment issues. Trying to plan the harsh environment finish and drop options, too. I'm looking at all the coil-over options since a non-adjustable coil drop may be asking for trouble. Those pictures and your information really helps.

No problem sting, I get so much information from this community that I am trying to find opportunities to give back, it is my pleasure. Good luck with your wheel decision and make sure to start your own thread with what you do.
