4 months?! Geez! We waited less than 1 and I can't imagine waiting much longer than that! We were going crazy as it was!

We ordered from Newberry Family Auto (in Harper KS). Its a bit of a drive from wichita but the people there are great. And we'd rather our money go to good people who we happen to be friends with than a big impersonal dealership.

Caravan planning to Valdosta in April

OK, not sure how many of us have looked at the details for Camaro5 Fest in April '10. I have started a Caravan thread so we can link up with whomever along the way.

I know Wichita crew is planning a link-up with Oklahoma City and onward. Does anyone want to start a Kansas City link-up thread? If you'd like I will make the first post the Kansas Links thread and just edit the example that I have.

Either send me your details or I will just start something and add your names to the list. Abygale, if you would please take the lead on this for your crew, if you don't already have one.

Note: I am on the fence with adding a 2 hour stint to my journey by linking up with Aby and the crew. I'm probably gonna hit I-70 & south after St. Louis, stay at Ft. Campbell. KY for like $35 a night - that's a 9 hour drive for me, 7 hour drive for the KCMO folks. Might have to stretch it out to Nashville, TN area and make Fridays drive shorter. I am flexible on this!

Looks like our car will be here in January

Wish it would be here this year for the small tax credit and for the 500 dollar rebate. Maybe they'll extend the rebate again tho... we can only hope...

camarofest hmm..... I think I should go read about that.....

I also saw one (black) on the blue bridge heading out of Leavenworth going over to MO. Anyone claim that one?
Hm. Depends on when it was....I drive on 435S in Kansas City around 7:45am...

Sure thing Rookie. If anyone else from the Wichita area is going please let me know. Once we have the final details from the OKC group on when & where they are meeting we can figure out when we need to be on the road. It should be a very fun trip down!

I hear you! After the ice storm that moved through, and the salt and gravel on the roads now, mine won't be seeing much driving time until spring! :(

I asked mine if she'd rather hang out in the garage or go for a ride this morning. She pouted and said she'd be very lonely if I left her all alone for the day, so off we went!

I had a blast cruisin by everyone this morning on HWY 254! She does really well on light snow/ice. Does look a little dirty though...

Good job Silver, you are a better man than I am....LOL (in more than one way hehe). Actually I saw the lady that owns a silver one that lives out by me on the west side driving hers today too. Must be a SIM thing!

Mines tucked away in the Garage with a nice fresh coat of wax. I'll be Damned if that garage door even trys to go up with the weather we are having.

I was out playing in the fun today as well... car did really well, even thought I had to go 5 mph for most of I235 (someone put a SUV on it's lid in the ditch)

It does make me sad to see it all dirty, but it is a good thing the car washes don't close in the winter

Well I don't know how you guys are doing it on the ice - but my RS tires are horrible as everyone has described in the other threads. Just horrible! LOL Glad I have a lil 4x4 to get me around during the bad ice days.

I've got a 3 foot snow-drift in my backyard right now - crazy!!!
